Prom night 2011

Graduation month for my kids and me

Sunday, May 8, 2011
Greetings to all my old new and forever friends, family, inlaws and outlaws.

This month my daughter Morgen, age 20, graduates from St. Edward's University and my son Forrest, age 17, graduates from Highland Park High School. Much celebration will be commencing.

In an effort to transition myself from Mother of minors to minoring in mothering, I have decided to create a blog. I have loved reading my nieces........Mandy, Karin, and Sara and April's. And I of course then copied them.

I will go into more detail about me at another time. Whether you want me to or not.

I have been wanting to blog for a while but what has spurred me on today is Forrest had his Junior Senior prom last night. I wanted to share his photos and have been playing around with music. The way I figured out to apply the music is to blog. You cannot go automatically to Facebook with music. I wanted to have "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as the song. For reasons that I feel are more than technical, the song I ended up with is "Have a Little Faith in Me". I think I am being shown to do this in my very capable son.

So here he is with his very good friends enjoying an evening I know he will remember fondly forever.
